The caravan park / site is within 2 miles of the centre of Harrogate and a 3 mile walk or cycle ride from Knaresborough, along the Beryl Burton cycle route. Work has begun on a cycle route from Bilton to Ripley.

Direct access to the beach is just a short walk through the residential holiday homes park. The touring site offers a lovely grassed area surrounded by mature trees for touring caravans, motor homes, tents and trailer tents. All pitches are hard standing with electric hook up (16 amp).
