The Wellington - One of the oldest buildings in Brecon, The Wellington's beautiful Georgian fa?ade stands looks over the town square and the monument of the Duke of Wellington. The Wellington is in a prime location at the heart of this charming historic market town. All of Brecon's attractions are within easy reach. Aleppo Merchant Inn - Situated in the heart of beautiful Mid-Wales between Newtown and Machynlleth. This 17th century Inn offers a warm welcome to travelers and locals alike. Peter & Jenny Canning and their staff look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful, yet little known, part of Wales. We have three bars and offer a wide selection of beers, lagers, and ciders as well as a varied range of quality home cooked meals to cater all tastes. All of our letting rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard with spacious en-suite shower rooms throughout.

Castle Inn - This small and friendly guest house is situated in an imposing 16th century stone-built building, ideally located in the heart of the Teme Valley in Wales on the English border. Castle Inn is a charming guest house offering comfortable accommodation with in-room amenities including a TV, DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. The bar offers real ales, home-cooked food and cosy open fires. The bar serves at least 2 real ales, as well as smooth bitter, draught stout, dry cider and lager. Dogs are allowed in both the bar and the rooms. The surrounding area offers fantastic opportunities for country walks on Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way. It is situated in the heart of Mid Wales, an area that is ideal for walking, cycling and driving amongst the beautiful scenery. The landlord of the inn is a keen walker and will be happy to give advice on possible routes.

Ardwyn House - Ardwyn is a glorious Belle ?poque-style guest house built in the early 1900s. It has a creative atmosphere with plenty of arts and crafts. Art Nouveau touches from the roll top baths to the light fittings are found throughout the house. The period bedrooms have double-aspect views, stylish designs and good bathrooms. There is a library/snooker room with comfy chairs and many books. The Royal Welsh Show Ground is a 20-minute drive away, and Llanwrtyd Wells has plenty of opportunities for walking and mountain biking.

The Coach House - The Coach House offers 5-star boutique town-house accommodation in Brecon, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Hosts Marc and Tony will provide a warm welcome to their luxurious, contemporary accommodation. They have plenty of local knowledge and can tell you the best places to visit, whether you plan to walk, cycle or ride. The Coach House's rooms are newly fitted, and have light oak furniture, a flat-screen TV, throws and soft furnishings. A free beverage tray comes with fresh milk.

Liverpool House In Powys - Liverpool House is a large double fronted guest house with excellent accommodation, both with and without en suite. Situated in town, but with superb views of surrounding hills and countryside. This guest house is situated in the heart of Wales. Guests arriving at Liverpool House are assured of a warm welcome by the owner Mrs Ann Griffiths. Liverpool House has a total of 9 bedrooms (5 in the main house and 4 in the annexe. Colour television, beverage tray, hairdryer and iron in all rooms. All rooms are centrally heated and are on two floors. No two rooms are the same size or decor. Visitors have access to two lounge areas where they can talk or watch TV on the large TV sets available. Due to the new law it is now an offence to smoke in these premises. Pets are accepted by prior arrangement. Please note that, in the interests of other guests, dogs are not allowed in the dining room and lounges. Throughout the guest house, a very high standard of cleanliness is maintained. Private secure car park and locked accommodation for cycles are available. Groups and families are welcome.

Cerdyn Villa - Cerdyn Villa offers friendly, relaxing, quality guest-house accommodation with a real home-from-home feel. Rooms have excellent views of the Irfon Valley. Black Mountain Lodge - This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel and comfortable rooms. The oldest part of Black Mountain Lodge is believed to date back to the 17th century. It has ample free parking and a bar and restaurant open from 18:00 to 21:30 Friday to Monday. The Lodge is in the village of Glasbury, between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, and is ideal for a peaceful country break. A wide of range of activities is available in the local area.

The Horseshoe Guesthouse - In the old town area, just 5 minutes' walk from the River Wye, this 200-year-old Welsh stone building is rich in original character and traditional charm, with wood beams and exposed stonework. In the rural market town of Rhayader, known as the gateway to the Lakeland of Wales, the Horseshoe Guesthouse and Restaurant makes a great base from which to explore the region's magnificent mountains, valleys, woods and lakes. With original 18th-century timbers and a log fire, the lounges are furnished with deep comfortable chairs. The Horseshoe has been recently refurbished and now combines modern comforts and facilities with this lovely old building's historic character. The rooms are decorated in a traditional country style and each room has tea/coffee making facilities, modern central heating and a flat-screen TV. The fully licensed restaurant offers superb homemade food, freshly prepared using locally sourced produce. The wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal.
