We decided to pitch our touring caravan at three rivers for the whole month of May as we had been there last year.Oh dear never again..... First of all the male toilet block only has four toilets and one of those was out of order for the whole month, the showers were OK, reasonably clean and plenty of hot water, although if you are not the tallest person in the world you may only get the top of your head wet as they are set too high. No on-site shop any more. The pitches are functional but tired and shabby. One of the fields previously used for pitching tents appears to now be a dumping ground.Swimming pool(fee chargeable) again functional but drab and tired, although changing rooms were OK and plenty of lockers, only found eight out of order. Poor selection of games machines, 4 fruit machines(1 out of order,2 empty grabbing machines and 2 pool tables(both broken on the first bank holiday weekend) but you need to pay a £2 deposit at the bar that doesn't open until 4pm. The cafe is also now closed, so unless you cook your own food, you will need to travel out to eat.. Saturday night entertainment consisted of a solo singer singing to a handful of guests and not finishing until 11.30, quite late for youner ones. No Sunday evening entertainment at all, not even disco lights or music. The staff are polite enough and quite helpful.

A lovely family park, it's location made it the perfect base for exploring Lancashire, North Yorkshire and parts of the lakes - we'll certainly be returning in the future.

Wow, what at great place. The caravan was clean, tidy and very smart - we didn't expect such quality. The location was ideal, not too far from anywhere but far enough to be situated in the beautiful Lancashire countryside. We would really recommend it to everyone and we plan to go back again!

We enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers, it was peaceful and friendly, the fact that most of the homes are residential, ensures the peace and gave our stay a feeling of security and homeliness. The friendly down to earth nature of all the staff was refreshing and again made you feel welcome and at home.
